Today is the day everybody has to make a decision for college. The May 1st deadline. I have currently not made a decision for college and I am not going to. Believe me when I say that I want to go to college but I don't have the passion nor drive to stress out about this college stuff. I'm non-chalant and come off as not caring but that's me. Everybody keeps asking me what college are you going to. I suggest you dont because I will give a crummy answer; therefore, I have not made a decision now. I am waiting on hearing from my CUNY's because I wish to stay in the city.

I agree that making a decision that will have a strong impact on your life is stressful, but it is a part of growing up. We will have to face many decisions like this and I want to advise you to come up with a better coping measure than being nonchalant. You are very intelligent and I do not want your nonchalance to prohibit you. I wish you the best in any decision you make.
ReplyDeleteI understand where your coming from because the college process is definitely stressful, and I have been known to slack off or "not care" as much as my friends when it came to college. I wish you the best and I hope you get into all your CUNY's.
